Love Before Law

A National Social Campaign for Marital Harmony, Women’s Dignity & Social Healing
From Valentine’s Day (14 February) to Women’s Day (8 March)

What Is Love Before Law?

Love Before Law is a nationwide social awareness campaign initiated by Adv. Bindu Dubey, Founder of Adv. Bindu Dubey & Associates and Trustee of Bindura Foundation.

The campaign addresses a growing social concern: 👉 the rapid escalation of marital conflicts into police complaints, court cases, and irreversible breakdowns – often without early dialogue or support.

This movement encourages couples, families, and society to pause, communicate, and seek resolution before conflict turns adversarial, while firmly affirming that law remains essential wherever abuse, cruelty, or violence exists.

Our Position Is Clear

Love Before Law is

  • Pro-women
  • Pro-safety
  • Pro-law (when needed)
  • Pro-peace and prevention

This campaign is not:

  • Anti-divorce
  • Anti-women’s rights
  • Pro-adjustment or silence
  • Against legal remedies

Instead, it asks one honest question:

Can some conflicts be healed before they reach court?

💔 Why This Campaign Matters Today

Across India, marital conflicts are escalating faster than ever. What once remained within the walls of a home now increasingly enters police stations and courtrooms—often leaving behind emotional scars that last far longer than legal proceedings.

Today, we are witnessing:

  • A steady rise in divorce and separation
  • An increase in domestic disputes and family litigation
  • Deep emotional trauma suffered by women and children
  • Courts and policing systems stretched beyond capacity

Legal protection is essential and non-negotiable.

But law intervenes after relationships have already fractured and damage has been done. Love Before Law focuses on what can be done before that point is reached—through communication, counselling, empathy, and early conflict resolution.

| Strong marriages reduce social conflict.
| Peaceful homes protect women better than prolonged litigation.

Why This Campaign Matters - Adv Bindu Dubey

Love Before Law strongly believes:

  • A woman’s safety is non-negotiable
  • A woman’s dignity includes peace

Standing for women does not mean standing for constant conflict.
It means standing for respect, safety, and informed decision-making.
